Kia Naddermier
With over 30 years of experience, Kia Naddermier is the founder of Mysore Yoga Paris, a global community dedicated to an embodied, holistic approach to practice. Drawing deeply from both Yogic and Buddhist traditions, she is the creator of Yoga Bhāvanā, a unique and integrative approach that cultivates the full spectrum of practice – body, breath, heart, mind, and relationship – inviting practitioners into a transformative journey of becoming.
Her teachings encompass Buddha Dharma, Yoga Philosophy, Aṣṭāṅga Yoga, Somatic Practice, Meditation, Kriyās, and Prāṇāyama. Weaving compassion and insight with practical embodied guidance, Yoga Bhāvanā illuminates and strengthens every dimension of practice. Kia is among the first and few Prāṇāyama teachers certified at the highest level within the Kaivalyadham lineage.
A devoted Dharma practitioner and certified Mindfulness Mentor, Kia teaches with authenticity, clarity, and generosity, making ancient practices alive and relevant in daily life as tools for spiritual growth and inner healing. Her deep love and decades of dedication to all aspects of yoga continue to expand her teaching and practice. Practitioners and teachers return year after year to benefit from the evolving depth of her ongoing research, study, and guidance.
When not travelling, Kia lives in Paris with her husband Magnus and two daughters Uma & Devi.
