Kia Naddermier

Kia Naddermier is firstly the proud mother of her two girls Uma & Devi. With more than 25 years of experience of Ashtanga Yoga, Kia is an international teacher and founder of Mysore Yoga Paris, a global yoga community dedicated to a holistic, multi-layered approach to practice. She has studied extensively within the traditional Ashtanga Yoga lineage, and continues to practice, research and teach within this vast tradition. She mentors teachers and gives in-depth trainings, workshops and retreats internationally. 

A direct student of her beloved teacher Sri OP Tiwariji and his son Sudhir, Kia is a highly skilled Pranayama teacher, one of the first few in the world certified to teach advanced Pranayamas and Kriyas at the highest level within the Kavalyadham lineage. Being a devoted Buddhist meditation practitioner, her teaching draws extensively from traditional Buddhist teachings of Mindfulness and Loving Kindness

With a genuine dedication to the growth and development of her students, Kia´s teachings integrates her profound knowledge of the breath and Pranic energy, subtle and physical anatomy, with yogic- and Buddhist principles. She offers a non-dogmatic, inclusive and creative space open for personal exploration and inquiry. Practitioners return year after year to her trainings, retreats and workshops to take part in the continuous evolution of her research, practice and teaching. Her deep love and years of dedication to all aspects of practice shines through in her warm, insightful and inspirational teaching.
