THE MOVEMENT OF BREATH AND WISDOM OF HEART – IMMERSIVE 2-WEEK RETREAT
WITH KIA NADDERMIER
December 6th-20th 2025
Kia’s devotion to both Yogic and Buddhist traditions informs the heart of her this retreat that centres around an embodied approach to Ashtanga, Mysore Practice, Classical Pranayamas, Buddhist Meditation and Dharma Teachings.
We immerse into these somatic practices and wisdom teachings to cultivate an understanding of yoga as a portal to wholeness, wisdom and compassion.
Whether exploring Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama or the Buddha Dharma, we work from a non-dogmatic, inclusive and creative place, open for personal inquiry. Again and again we return to the wisdom of our body, the pathways of our breath and the generosity of our heart to grow our practice with authenticity and inner clarity.
This entrustment to the home ground of our embodiment creates a natural sense of belonging and compassion that reaches far beyond our yoga mat.
The retreat is open for all levels.

Course content and daily schedule
Mornings open with Mindfulness Meditation, cultivating deep awareness aligning body, breath, heart and mind. Dynamic Master Classes early in the retreat will offer abundant new insights and pathways to explore in the Mysore Sessions that follow. This allows for your personal practice process to expand under careful individual guidance from Kia and her team. With a heartfelt commitment to each students’ growth and development, Kia holds a warm, inclusive and inspiring space that encourages personal inquiry.
Afternoons are dedicated to the philosophy and practice of traditional Pranayamas in the lineage of Kaivalyadham as well as reflections around the Buddha Dharma, Meditation, Satsang and exploring essential Principles of Yoga Asana.
These mindfully crafted sessions will develop transformative skills and embodied resources that will continue to grow and inspire your practice long after the retreat ends.
New students will be mindfully introduced to classical Pranayamas, whilst those with more experience refine and deepen their practice and understanding.
Traditional Kriyas (yogic purification techniques) will be skilfully introduced to all interested practitioners.
Those with an established Kaivalyadham lineage practice may receive pulse readings and tailored progressions. Everyone will leave with a self-practice of Pranayama and Kriyas to continue beyond the retreat.
